Halloween is approaching more quickly than ever! This is the time where middle school becomes alive with ghost stories and tales of adventures at the Halloween parties at theme parks. This is also a time where you are asked multiple times, "What are you going to be for Halloween?" A lot of people still don't know so I decided to dedicate this post with ideas on what to be for Halloween.
To start off, if you would rather just blend in with the crowd here are some of the more popular costumes I have heard this year:
1. The Mad Hatter (You can make or buy this costume very easily).
2. Bugs - mainly ladybugs and bumble bees which are easy to pull off with the right colors and a set of antenna.
Next is the super-complex homemade costumes:
1. Any square household appliance. These can be made with a card board box to look like just about anything for example a gift or a TV.
2. A cell phone. This costume can be made as either your phone or some of the more popular phones.
Then there are the last minute almost-a-costume costumes:
1. You can be a Halloween mess by just throwing on bits and pieces of cloths and jewelry.
2. You can put on a witch hat and a long black dress or robe and be a witch/wizard.
But a true Spirited Woman knows - when you dress up you are being something you aren't and even though it is fun to be a dog, goblin, or superhero - when it is time to take off the costume, she is happiest being herself.
