Dr. Suzan Starler is a woman who literally saved her own life, then went on to save the lives of others.
One of Los Angele's most prominent chiropractors and nutritionists, Suzan is the founder and owner of Star Chiropractic and Nutrition Clinic. Her story is truly inspirational.
At the ripe old age of 38 - yes, you read that right - Suzan suffered a series of strokes, was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease, and was told by her doctors that she needed to "put her affairs in order."
Not wanting to be robbed of her life, she fought back like a tigress, taking serious charge of her own "wellness" and developed her own nutritional program. Within six months, she was able to to put her body and her life back together.
After her life-altering experience 15-years-ago, she went on to achieve numerous certifications. In addition to her very busy practice, she lectures at local colleges, performs advanced ergonomic classes for such corporations as Unicare, United Airlines, and Merrill Lynch, and continues to attend advanced educational lectures to enhance her expertise and provide patients with the most current information and wellness techniques available.
Suzan's approach is to follow a Holistic path, encompassing the physical, emotional, social and spiritual aspects of healing for a comprehensive method of total patient care. And she believes it is essential that women follow their intuition and "listen to it" when it comes to their "wellness."
Totally passionate about her work and her life, Suzan is happily married, loves outdoor activities, travel, and reading - and she lives with a menagerie of pets. She is also active in Club 100, which is affiliated with the Music Center and helps support the arts in schools.
