Allison O'Sullivan is passionate about life, her new role as Managing
Director of The Women's Travel Club, and the fact that she will be
leading the global march forward with women of wanderlust!
Yes, it is an exciting time for women travelers. And Allison is thrilled to be a part of it. Her enthusiasm about travel is catching.
First a little back story. The Women's Travel Club was founded in 1992. It is one of the oldest and the largest women's travel club around. Now, a subsidiary of Club ABC Tours, there are currently thousands of women who belong - about 50% of the members are single, the rest are not. Members are offered an array of fascinating trips - from visiting major world capitals to exotic spa visits to purposeful travel in such places as Croatia and Moscow. The group atmosphere is an ideal environment to make new friends or to travel with friends.
"We are one of the best kept secrets around," says Allison. "My job as the new Managing Director is to get the word out more and to continue providing the same quality level of tours to women in small groups with 4 to 5 star hotels."
Married for 22-years, with a son ready to graduate from high school, Allison recently left her own consulting business, and decided to return to her roots in worldwide group travel sales. She has traveled to more than 25 countries.
"I just love to travel,"Allison says. When asked about her favorite place to travel, "It's a great question, impossible to answer. There are 100's maybe even 1000's of memory moments that crowd my head whenever I think about the miles I have covered. Some of which are the enormity of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the Hall of Mirrors in Versailles, the Reclining Buddha in Bangkok, the Acropolis in Greece, and I could go on and on."
