Last week Mingmei wrote her first post on the Yin Yang Eye, which is what Chinese call the ability to see beings in the other realm. This is her second post on the subject.
I have another friend who claims she has the yin yang eye to see happenings beyond this world.
Sometimes this girlfriend will report seeing only one ghost, but sometimes more. One time she said when she went to a remote site to camp overnight, she saw a whole village of them. At first, all acted entirely normally; some of the women washed clothes in the river, others cooked, while the men drank beer enjoying watching their women work. It was almost like a party. But then one by one, each faded into the air.
I asked, “How are you so sure these were ghosts? Maybe they were real villagers!”
She smiled. “Of course I know, because they had no feet.”
Then I asked, feeling aghast, “Did they see you?"
“Maybe or maybe not, but they never bother people in the yang world. Just like us, ghosts don’t want any trouble.”
“Were you scared?”
“No. I see them everyday, everywhere I go. I have since the day I was born. They’re almost like friends to me. You studied abroad and have friends of different nationalities, I have friends from the other world. I’m always nice to them, so they leave me alone.”

It's been said as you near your death you start to see angels. I know my grandmother thought she saw her mother.

I saw a special on Ghost Hunters where a woman's ghost turns up in the parking lot of a car rental business. You could see her on the security camera. It was real spooky. It turns out she had recently died in a car accident.
