A drawing her daughter Gracie made resonated with her creativity and pledge of not being afraid to have fun... and she began drawing a story around the ideas that were coming to her. To feel more "responsible" she alternated between updating her resume, struggling to make something happen with "a real job" and tapping into her inspiration of creating and becoming a toy entrepreneur. Then she gave in and went with what made her heart sing.
Her business is called A Place of Good and Denise is enjoying her own small business start up tip "don't be afraid to have fun." She has done a book around her characters, developed the dolls and is thinking of a cartoon strip. Following her inspiration also lead her to a visit from Tony Harris from CNN who did a feature on her.
What would you accomplish today if you followed the motto "don't be afraid to have fun?" What ideas and inspiration have been whispering... to you? Have fun and play a bit with the inspiration that is flowing to you.

I am getting ready to update my blog site and was going through the old site and just saw this link to your blog site. THANK YOU for responding to our CNN piece and commenting on "having fun."
It's been a full and busy year since the story aired last December and I am happy to say that I've followed the fun credo and have worked with some amazing women to get a newly designed toy sewn ready to be out into the world.
I will send you the new link once we get it up.
Thanks,
