I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the significance of people we meet in our lives. From my humble point of view as a spiritual astrologer, I can tell you that I don’t believe that we meet anyone “by accident.” No, all of the people in your life come to you with an invisible soul contract connecting the two of you in some way.
Usually that soul contract reads something like “Let’s try to even the score in this lifetime without making even more of a karmic mess, shall we?”
Ok, so maybe I’m being a little bit sarcastic. But seriously, there are karmic lessons between you and every person in your life with whom you have a significant aspect. And to prove it, you can study a branch of astrology called karmic synastry.
I recently had the great pleasure to be a guest on a radio show where I was able to share my thoughts on relationship astrology, the karmic debt we have with those in our lives, and how you can use astrology to help you understand these lessons and grow from any relationship.
Those heavy hitter outer planets always have something to do with karma. These are Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. When a personal planet (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars) in one person’s chart is making a contact to an outer planet in another person’s chart then an astrologer has a “script” to read instantly that tells him or her about the dynamics and karmic implications of your relationship.
Interesting stuff don’t you think? If so, I invite you to listen in on the radio show for yourself and learn more about why I am convinced that there are no accidents when it comes to the people we meet. Ever.

I definitely agree! In fact, I believe there are NO coincidences in life. "People" to me means relatives, your children, in addition to friends, lovers. You might meet the person for YOUR karma lesson or for his/her lesson or for both of you. It is hard to figure out the "reasons" behind the meeting, however. I really look at this when hard times, unhappiness, bad things, etc.[all as we interpret them at that point in time] are heavily involved in the relationship. Appreciate the advice about the outer planets; I'll look into that.
