The holiday season is upon us – gift guides are all over the consumer magazines, Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away and stores are starting to put out their Christmas decorations already! Have you ever thought about taking a shopping outlet tour and combining it with travel? I thought it would be fun to look at some of the best places to travel and shop in the winter so you can get away and take care of your long list of holiday shopping.

You can start in Manhattan, and keep driving to Woodbury Commons Outlet Mall, Franklin Mills Mall in Philadelphia, Arundel Mills Mall in Baltimore and more.
Colorado Ski and Shop Outlets - After a day of skiing in Summit County, check out the outlets of Silverthorne or the outlets of Loveland. While hanging in Denver, visit the outlets of Castle Rock or MileHigh Marketplace. All offer a wide array of stores with amazing prices!
Florida Vacation, Shopping and Outlet Mall Tour - If you are not into skiing and love the sun, a trip to Florida for some beach time and shopping could be just the ticket. You will have a whirlwind of fun and leave with some amazing gifts!
Drink Wine and Shop Gucci in Florence - If you are planning a trip to beautiful Italy in the next few months, you will enjoy lots of amazing food and wine in Florence and surrounding Tuscany and you can visit Gucci Outlet The Mall, which is just 45 minutes outside of Florence and offers high fashion items at 30 to 50% off.
Shanghai Shopping Tour Surprise - A trip to Shanghai, China may just be just your holiday shopping ticket. My mother brings back amazing finds from China and you can to by joining this planned shopping trip in Shanghai. Visit Xujiahui Commercial District, Datongyang Shopping Mall and Yu Garden for starters! This trip offers culture, fun, food, drink and shopping!

It is just amazing to me that people would plan a vacation around shopping. I live five minutes from Woodbury Commons outlet and often see busloads of tourists going to this mall. They also stop at my local Walmart-isn't that a hoot! Not my idea of a vacation, but I am amused every time I see the tourists!
