By now, I think most Spirited Woman readers know that I have a fondness for the color pink and all that it represents for modern women. Though I wrote a bit about a few pink objects you could buy in one of my end of September blog posts, I did not realize at the time the plethora of pink possibilities out there. That was until today, when I got an email from the TheBreastCancerSite.com. They are now directly associated with the Pink Ribbon Application on Facebook and through their grass roots efforts and massive networking, they hope to eradicate breast cancer.
The Breast Cancer Site was founded in October 2000 and since its inception has helped more than 19,000 women receive mammograms. Their concept is amazingly simple: just visit their site, click on the "click here to give" button and the site's sponsors will give money for your click. This is such an easy way to do your part that a simple visit and click daily should become a regular part of your internet surfing routine.
Since October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month it seems only fitting to throw out a few more ideas for how you can stylishly incorporate a bit of pink into your life. If you have ever doubted that pink could work for you, just take a surf on over to the BreastCancerSite.com's store, you may just change your mind about the girliest of colors.
Here are a few of my favorites. Not only are these items wonderful just because they are stylish, smart and a bit sassy but also because you know that with each purchase you are supporting an incredible cause: helping to fund free mammograms for women in need.

With the abundance of gray, wet days in the City of Lights, these boots are the perfect fashion accessory for every Parisian girl and anyone else who wants to add a little sunshine to her rainy days.
Super Cozy Pink Ribbon Jacket: A beautiful way to bundle up. With the days getting shorter and colder this comfy jacket is a nice sporty addition to any Spirited Woman's wardrobe. Why not take a jog wearing your new jacket and show your support for such a great cause?
Live with Courage, Love with Faith, Laugh with Hope Bracelet: The name alone should make any Spirited Woman rejoice but this lovely piece of jewelry helps more than just the fight against breast cancer. When you choose to purchase or give this bracelet, you are also helping to empower women in Guatemala. Through their beautiful weaving they are able to earn a fair wage and to help provide for their families.
Flower Festival Pink Ribbon Organic Tee: A great looking tee that shows you have heart. This t-shirt is produced by Fransican nuns in India who employ and care for 120 women who are either handicapped or economically disadvantaged.
Pink Ribbon Pashmina: Though it comes in basic black and soft gray as well, pink has my vote hands down as being original, spirited and eye-catching. Pashminas come in handy all year round so why not make this one to remember for yourself and others?
