In middle school personalizing yourself is very common. Almost everyone has a slightly different style. Unfortunately I go to a school with uniforms, so cloths are not how we express ourselves. The way a 7th grader stands out in my school is by pens.
Pens write in all different colors. The big thing is having pens from another country that nobody else has. Last year we had pens with pom-pom heads. They were cute but grew old because everyone had them. I have two pens from Mexico wearing sombreros. My friends love to play with them because they look like real people. My favorite pen I own is a stick. It is made of recycled wood and writes very well. In some classes the color of your ink doesn’t matter so a variety of colors are used. Some popular colors are green, light blue, orange, pink, and purple. I normally use blue, green, and black because they are easy to read.
Similar to pens - highlighters also vary in colors. The most popular is electric orange. I think it is good to have pens that are fun. To me having cool pens makes writing easier because you’re happy to use that pen. Expressing yourself is part of being a spirited woman because you know someone is spirited when they stand out as a happy bright person. When you express yourself it helps you stand out.
