In school we were watching a presentation on the brain. I learned that one of the most important things for our brain is sleep. Most of us are sleep deprived, too. The other thing I found interesting was sleeping in is good. As a matter of fact for every minute you sleep in the morning you gain one I.Q. point.
I guess when they say sleep on it they mean it.
I decided I would start packing my lunch at night and getting an extra 15 minutes of sleep. It really helped me because I had more energy for my run that day. Doing these simple things at night could help us be smarter during the day! I think I am going to try this theory before major tests. The last brain health I want to share with you has to do with memory.
Study 30 minutes before you go to sleep - if you don’t take tests anymore review important things. While you are sleeping your brain will process the information. The next morning it will be fresh in your mind*.
* Please note this doesn’t work like a super power. You have to review every night to have this in your mind, but it is worth a shot.
