As an avid traveler for both business and pleasure, I am constantly checking my favorite resources to find out the latest hot spots, travel tips, hotels/airlines, shops and more. With all of the information out there, it is sometimes hard to find the right travel resources that can you give you what you need. To help you maneuver through your travel information highway, here are some of my favorite travel magazines/TV shows and online spots that will keep you entertained about travel and informed about everything you need to know before your next trip (including my blog of course).
Travel Girl Magazine - I found this very cool magazine - designed to give travel and lifestyle information for the woman traveler. Travel Girl also has its own line of luggage sold on QVC. What I love about this creative print and online magazine is that it is so easy to maneuver through and it's simple and fun. From online alerts, to travel deals, contests and lists of "the best of the best" in top cities, Travel Girl Magazine is a resourceful traveling lady's friend. Bookmark it and subscribe to the print magazine.
Conde Nast Traveler - I love this magazine. I always bring the latest issue with me on the plane. What I love about it are – the fantastic pictures of faraway destinations that inspire me to one day visit, the great lists of latest travel must-haves, "the best of the best" hotels/spas/airlines and fantastic stories of top cities across the globe. Reading this magazine always takes my imagination to another place and leaves me feeling like a more informed global traveler.
USA Today Travel Section - I love USA Today for the easy reading, the quick view of the latest news and the variety of information I can get. Their travel section follows the same format – it gives me the latest deals on travel across the world and some great stories of trips in destinations that I want to go to. And they are in every airport magazine shop, so it is easy to pick up before boarding any plane.
Travel Channel’s Samantha Brown - The Travel Channel offers a variety of very cool programming, but my favorite Spirited Woman is Samantha Brown. I just love her – she is spunky, outgoing and interesting as she takes off across the country to bring us the best weekend getaways. I am always intrigued to see what Samantha will bring us and of course what she's wearing. Check her out on her next weekend jaunt.
American Way Magazine - It may be because I travel often on American, but I love the American Way Magazine. They always list some new lounge openings, travel gadgets and feature celebrities and their hometowns. An easy read that brings me a lot of great information and entertainment.
