I have been running myself ragged lately with various personal and business travel, weddings galore and a variety of work projects going on at the same time. I am at that point where I really need a getaway! And am in dire need for some “chill” time. My guess is many of you are in the same boat as me and would love to plan a lovely spa getaway!
Of course, our current economic situation is not necessarily perfect, but it turns out, spring is a great time to travel and this year a huge number of deals are going on. So, I am dedicating this blog to the latest spa deals across our great country and beyond. I hope that you are able to find something to fit your spiritual healing needs not to mention a place where you can completely unwind and get back to yourself!
Arizona – I hear that Arizona is the best place to find amazing getaway spas. And I also hear that the best time to get spa deals in Arizona is during the summer through September. Canyon Ranch Tucson is offering a "Parent & Child Savings Package" for children age 14 or older sharing a room with their parent. The children can stay and take part in spa treatments at a discounted rate but there is a minimum four-night stay.
California – My favorite state for the ultimate in laid back culture and beautiful landscape, California has a wide array of spas to check out. Some of the hottest deals I found include Cal-a-Vie (Vista, California), offering a July 4 special of discounted room rates depending on the number of nights you may stay. Deals include: $500 off 7-night European Plan; $300 off 4-night or $200 off 3-night La Petite Plan. And the Miramonte Resort & Spa is offering a great deal of $99 on room nights and some spa services at THE WELL Spa.
Utah – I have not spent much time in Utah, but it honestly looks very cool to me and an ideal place to get away from it all! I found this very cool place called the Fitness Ridge Resort & Spa (St. George, Utah) and they are offering a Couple’s Escape Package from June 29 – September 14. The package includes hikes, fitness classes and three meals daily starting at $795 per week. I love a spa that offers physical fitness activities in addition to just vegging out…you feel like you are really doing your body good!
New Mexico – As you may know, I am very fond of Santa Fe – a cultural haven bursting with creative energy and the ultimate in getting back to nature so I was thrilled to find this cool deal at the Eldorado Hotel and Spa. The Eldorado is offering guests deluxe accommodations – starting at $199 a night plus one free daily spa treatment like a massage or facial or you can opt for a spa credit towards a different treatment. Amazing – basically you get a free spa treatment with each night that you stay….and you get to take in all of the beauty and art of Santa Fe..sign me up!
Mexico – I think the travel bans have lifted on Mexico so this is a great time to take advantage of this raw, vibrant country that always leaves you feeling good. In Puerto Vallarta, the Casa Magna Marriott is offering The Escape Relaxation package which gives two guests a variety of spa treatments, fitness center and classes and more complimentary in addition to a room rate which start at $179 a night. Now that is a great deal! Can we say Gracias?
Iceland – OK, Iceland may not be in your current agenda of places to visit this year, but why not take a look at all the great things this majestic place has to offer. I found this great package deal – Icelandair’s Deluxe Spa Spree (Deluxe Spa Spree, with flight, from $1,595 )– which combines round trip airfare from select US cities, breakfasts, soaking in the Blue Lagoon, onsite treatments like soaking in a mineral salt bath and experiencing an Icelandic lava therapy and much more. Rates start at $1595 a person. An amazing deal if you really want to get adventurous! I think this is one I would definitely take advantage of!
Wow, I am starting to feel relaxed and refreshed already! I hope that you will get a chance to take advantage of some of these great deals in the near future! Breathe in, breathe out….Now Chill!
