Earlier in my life I didn’t think much about finding my inner calm. Mom, wife, daughter, sister, friend . . . in all the roles I had to play, my goal was to be the best at everything. I engaged my super-woman mindset, determined to work harder and longer. My career in crisis intervention added to the stress and I began experiencing symptoms of burnout – a physical, emotional and spiritual fatigue. I knew I had to make a change. I needed to focus a little more on my own personal well-being.
That’s when I started living with An Island Perspective.
Whether we realize it or not, we all yearn for a sense of deep inner peace. When we’re calm and serene on the inside, our world feels different – warm, friendly, open and inviting. We want to sing, laugh, play – to be joyful!
That’s why I try to find a splash of tropical tranquility every day. And, it’s a choice you can make too!
By taking a “mental vacation” to a beautiful tropical island, you fire up your natural creativity and develop your own unique path to inner peace and tranquility. You discover powerful, fun ways of looking at life that will help you find balance and perspective. The principles of the island – Wind, Sand, Palm, Ocean & Light - guide you in making a gentle return to your center whenever the winds of life blow you off course.
Maybe you’ve reached a point in your life when you’re looking for something more. Maybe you’re feeling a little frazzled with the constant struggle for outward achievement. Is it time for a little inner exploration?
We’d love to have you visit us at IslandPerspective.com. And you can be a part of the “island tribe’ at Facebook.com/IslandPerspective. Inspiration with a tropical flavor!
One more thing . . . we’re excited to announce our book An Island Perspective – Finding the Path to Tropical Tranquility is here! It’s the definitive “travel guide” to discovering your own inner bliss.
Hope to see you on the island soon!
