Isha Lerner and Tara McKinney are two spirited women who have been best friends for the past twenty-five years, though on the surface they have lived very different lives.
During the span of their friendship, Isha has lived in the same lovely home in Eugene, Oregon, been married and divorced twice, raised three beautiful daughters, grown two very successful businesses (www.ishalerner.com and www.flowerblends.com ), written several books, including the best-selling Inner Child Cards that connect the mystical meaning of fairy tales with the wisdom of the tarot (http://tinyurl.com/qtfgqc ) and become an internationally-acclaimed astrologer, tarot scholar and flower essence pioneer
Tara has lived in a dozen cities in the US, plus three Buddhist retreat centers and three foreign countries, remained single and childless, won numerous academic awards and acquired several academic degrees, including a Ph.D. in Comparative Religion and Women’s Studies, and had a successful career as an editor, writing coach and writer.
Like other smart, strong women whose friendship has stood the test of time, Isha and Tara have each faced the fundamental challenge of knowing themselves and staying true to that knowing over the years and have supported one another on their respective journeys. Ten years ago, when Tara was living in Ireland, for example, they explored that magical Emerald Isle together and were inspired to co-write The Triple Goddess Tarot. This week, their lives became intertwined in an even more remarkable way when Isha’s company, Isha Lerner Enterprises, merged with Inner Sight, a company cofounded by Tara (and two associates, Doug Wilson and Janet Morrow). This is the first official announcement of that merger.
What made the merger of Isha Lerner Enterprises and Inner Sight possible was our mutual commitment to help others access their inner knowing, live empowered lives and, ultimately, fulfill their destinies.
