Jeanette Chasworth, owner of Chasworth Place, is an interior designer
who focuses on the transformative power of interior design. When
working with a client, she is not only inspired by the home owner's
lifestyle, taste and experiences, she attunes herself to their house.
This combination of listening to both the client and their house means
the results of Jeanette's work are always individualized and come from
a soulful place that visually brings out the best for both her client
and their home. Jeanette strongly believes that through changing the
surroundings in your home you will transform your life, heal your past
and step into your future with the solid foundation of a home that
flourishes around you.
Jeanette earned the name of "The House Whisperer" from her clients as they watched her transform their houses into harmonized, energetic homes. Her current portfolio shows great diversity in design, as her philosophy is unbounded by a particular style. Her premiere projects include an 1875 arts-and-crafts residence in Glendora as well as a 1960's-era condominium with a spectacular view of Pasadena's Arroyo Seco.
Jeanette discovered interior design at a community college class and was instantly hooked. She went on to get her degree from FIDM and has worked in interior design for 15 years. She has worked in many facets of interior design from drapery workrooms to high end furniture manufacturers and has owned her own company for 6 years. She was recently published in Arts and Crafts Home and was part of the Heritage Square Museum Design Expo for Christmas.
One client, Linda Klypluk of Burbank, CA said after working with her “I feel hugged every time I come home.”
