The data is in. Yoga works! But, did you know that Yoga is about
observing while remaining detached? You learn to notice sensations,
feelings, and thoughts on or off the mat. Why is this important? Your
thoughts have a powerful impact on your body and emotions. When you are
aware, you can make choices. Accepting the present moment helps
eliminate stress.
I remind my students to observe what’s going on while having compassion and gratitude. My DVD is for those already practicing Yoga and for those who think they can’t or have tried and felt inadequate. Wouldn’t it feel great to hear, “breathe into the stretch, let go of trying to achieve anything, and just notice what it feels like without judging yourself.”
YOU CAN DO IT YOGA is an empowerment video that happens to teach yoga too. It is an easy to follow Yoga Program with inspirational messages which can be done at home or on the go. DVD can be downloaded to your iPhone or iPod. It is an inexpensive way to build confidence and release stress. Osha’s soothing voice and music lulls your mind into calmness.
