Nancy Mills is the Creator of the Spirited Woman Approach to Life, the founder of Spirited Woman, and the publisher of the revolutionary Spirited Woman Directory: A Collection of Stories and Resources for an Inspired Life, and the popular international Spirited Woman Blogger Team.
She is also a self-inspirational writer for women. In fact, the Spirited Woman Approach to Life is based upon an original manuscript written by Nancy entitled “Spirited Woman.”
In 2012, Nancy created the Sisterhood of the Sacred Scarves, honoring women of the world through scarf and ceremony. A portion of all scarf sales is donated by Spirited Woman to the Spirited Woman Foundation, which was created by Nancy to help heal and support women through actions of empowerment.
Known for her inspirational insight and interview style, for many years Nancy moderated the Spirited Woman Circle, an exclusive conversation series with famous women authors, actresses, radio personalities, editors, and more. She also led the creatively playful Spirited Woman Workshop in cities across America.
Presently, she speaks across the country to help inspire women in a broad array of topics - from empowerment to embracing your voice to being an every woman visionary. A mentor/teacher as well, she has mentored over 50 specially selected women in creative out-of-the-box marketing.
Additionally, she focuses much of her attention on publishing a successful blogger team, attracting 1,000's of women internationally to her free Spirited Woman e-Newsletter, and giving women across the world a voice to be heard.
She LOVES her work.
Prior to creating the Spirited Woman movement for women, Nancy was a leading freelance travel journalist, who also self-published the “Travelin' Woman,” newsletter and led empowerment seminars for more than 3,000 women nationwide. Her travel writing credits are numerous.
She has been interviewed by such publications as USA TODAY, is a frequent radio guest, and has appeared on THE TODAY SHOW.
Nancy is also a member of PEN USA. She graduated from UCLA with a BA in Psychology, resides in Southern California (at least for now), and her favorite pastimes are reading mysteries, gourmet cooking and travel adventures.
